Mexico celebrates Day of the Dead 2017
Gather your friends and familia – Mexico's huge national holiday Día de Muertos (the Day of the Dead) is coming up on Thursday 2nd November, and Christchurch's own Mexico is celebrating with their legendary Margarita Masterclass, as well as amazing food and drink specials all night at their Manchester Street outfit.
They’re tag-teaming in margarita mixin’ buddies Jose Cuervo; you’ll pick up some seriously mad skills to become a master in the fine art of making and consuming (gotta sample the product, right?) margaritas simultaneously. If this sounds like your type of evening, round up the amigos, hook yourselves up with some tix and head down to Mexico and get ready to shake it till you make it. Tickets include schooling on the ways of a margarita master, two fresh creations and the best in Mexican cuisine from the Mexico kitchen, along with Day of the Dead food and drink specials all night.
Food specials available include:
Sopes: w guajillo portobello mushrooms, avocado, remoulade, red slaw, candied spiced pepitas & micro greens
Ceviche: w strawberries, red onion, kiwifruit granita, nasturtiums, cucumber, mint & candied almonds & corn tostada
"Pan de Muertos” (“Bread of the Dead”, below): orange glazed, rolled in refined sugar, xocolate migas w warm ganache citrus de Xocolate
