Recipe: Soho Sour

Cityscape gets into that summertime feeling with Sister Kong’s mixology maestro Markus Teck’s bar-raising Soho Sour, a bewitching and seductively herbaceous and fruity take on the classic Sour that's perfect for sunny arvo sessions and evening party starting.

Soho Sour


40ml pear-infused vodka
30ml lemon juice
20ml rosemary syrup
20ml egg white
Angostura Bitters
Rosemary sprig


Fill a martini glass with ice and set aside to chill. Put all ingredients into a shaker and dry shake, add ice and continue shaking for several seconds to chill. Tip ice out of martini glass and strain contents of shaker into glass. Flame bitters over the top of cocktail (put bitters into an atomiser and carefully spray through the flame of a BBQ lighter) and garnish with rosemary.
