Hōhepa Art & Sculpture Exhibition: Art with heart
Heads-up, art lovers – here is an opportunity to take home stunning works and support South Island artists as well as the excellent work of disability support organisation Hōhepa Canterbury.
The 2021 Art & Sculpture Exhibition will feature artists Don Service and Simon Edwards, raising funds to build two new homes to fill some of the ever-increasing demand for specialist housing. The charitable organisation supports South Island people with intellectual disabilities to live a fulfilling lifestyle in a welcoming community – its vision is for every life, fully lived.
The new buildings will provide a place to live for 12 more people. Hōhepa needs to raise $2.2 million to build the homes and fill them with all the essential household items that make life easy, functional, comfortable and enjoyable.
